Magic-themed bar The Cauldron and its sister venues across London – the Wands & Wizard Exploratorium and Superheroes Bar, were re-opening in April 2021 after COVID restrictions started to ease. With every pub, bar and restaurant in the UK reopening at the same time, we needed a sound strategy to stand out from the crowd.

We looked to capitalise on the venues’ highly visual nature, seeding eye-catching imagery and pitching to TV as well as video teams at online and social-led media outlets. Alongside this, we offered exclusive first-use of the reopening stories to a select few tier A media. A series of #gifted visits with London-centric Instagram and TikTok influencers were also set up to deliver an ongoing drumbeat of visibility for each venue.
