Following the success of the 2020 and 2021 PR campaigns, Storm was reappointed to drive awareness of ISE 2022, tasked with expanding the show’s audience and raising its profile as a thought leader within the international security community.
The seven-month campaign focused on a hard-working press office campaign delivering impactful media relations and credible thought leadership, coupled with profiling opportunities for industry experts confirmed to speak at the show. Driving media engagement was a core focus for the campaign, helping to drive pre-show trade coverage and at-show national media opportunities.
The campaign saw a 405% increase in coverage in 2022, with 900 pieces across key trade and industry titles as well as national news outlets, all name-checking the event. More than 20 interviews were secured with conference speakers, while a further 17 were filmed and edited for use on the event’s own social channels. Press attendance also increased by 54% with leading journalists from the Press Association, The Independent, The Times and Daily Express all attending.
