Italian olive oil brand Farchioni has strong retail listings in the UK but needed support to raise awareness with consumers. Alongside a robust PR and social campaign, in-person experiences were utilised to bring the back story of the brand to life. Three influencers in the food space were invited to the company’s Umbrian olive groves and factory for an olive oil tasting, harvesting masterclass and interactive cooking session.
In addition to this, a VIP event was run with renowned Italian chef, Francesco Mazzei, and 12 media and influencers were invited to an exclusive dinner at his new Italian restaurant, Fiume. Mazzei cooked a three-course meal, using the olive oil as the hero ingredient, to showcase its versatility and quality.
Both pieces of activity generated rich and authentic social content that was repurposed on Farchioni’s social channels.
