Our client Powerday – one of the UK largest recycling businesses – has played a major role helping the renowned Dale Youth Boxing Club relocate after it lost everything in the Grenfell Tower fire last year. Thanks to the Powerday Foundation, BBC DIY SOS, Galliard Homes and a host of contractors and suppliers, the club now has a new home, with state of the art equipment that was officially opened by Sadiq Khan on Friday, 27 September.
We were tasked with raising awareness of the grand opening and the inspirational story behind the relocation of the club. The team secured attendance from both the national and regional media, as well as a host of photodesks, securing and setting up interviews with Sadiq Khan, the boxing club managers and Powerday. To-date coverage has been secured on the independent.co.uk, London Live, BBC Radio London (TV and radio), the Evening Standard and a number of other outlets.
